Democracy Now

To bring us events in New York City, we’re featuring footage from Democracy Now, the largest public media collaboration in the US.  Democracy Now is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program hosted by journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, and broadcast on NPR, PBS, and multiple public access stations around the country.  For more information, visit

On the 27th, we’ll be showing a compilation reel featuring some of the strongest moments from Democracy Now’s coverage of the Occupy Wall Street movement.  In Zuccotti Park, a group of activists felt it was time to make their voices heard — and at this year’s World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, you’ll get to hear them.
