StoryCorps

The StoryCorps Archive is unprecedented in size and scope: it is the largest collection of born-digital oral histories ever assembled. Containing over 44,00 interviews with 80,000 participants, the content of these interviews cover ever facet of American life.  For more information, please visit http://storycorps.org/about/archive-partners/

This year, StoryCorps is providing us with three audio interviews — two of which have never before been publicly aired — to represent the range of political experiences in this country.  Two of the interviews focus of African-American citizens in the South fighting to be able to place their ballot; the third, on the lighter side, tells the story of an election that was settled with a coin toss.
